Does this time of year drag on and on, or is it just me?

Ok, ok. Don’t answer that. I know it’s probably just me.

As you may already know, I am one of the Master Coaches, mentoring other health and fitness professionals as they go through a year long coaching certification. I wrapped up my client cohort few weeks ago, and now focusing on few work projects until my maternity leave starts.

Here’s a quote from the last team email I sent out:

“Please do not overthink the next step. Trying to plan out what’s next perfectly is like trying to get out of a dark cave by sitting on the floor and planning your (perfect) escape. You have to start moving somewhere, and feel for those walls. Nothing will inform your next step more than simply taking A STEP. ANY step in any direction. ”

The reason I wanted to share this quote with you, is because this topic came up quite a bit in my coaching conversations as of late.

“What’s next?” “What is my game plan from here on out?” “Now that this thing is done, what thing will I tackle next?”

These questions often come up as the seasons change, and as Christmas decorations appear in stores yet again. How did this year go? How will next year go? Where do I see myself?

If you are asking yourself these questions, stay tuned – annual review season is almost upon us!

My official due date (40 weeks) is on Monday, November 12th – that’s twenty five days away.

Not that I am counting…

LOL.

OF COURSE, I am counting.

They say “being done” and “over it” is one of the signs of late third trimester. Truth be told, I’ve felt “ready” and kind of “over it” for a while.

I’m bored. Ready for chaos.

Whenever we head out somewhere, Italian often encourages me to “take my time getting ready”, and that he will “wait in the car”. No pressure. Ha.

That’s kind of how I feel. No pressure, but I’m ready anytime.

Hugs, SOLO
